Western Michigan Christian takes down Mona Shores to extend winning streak to 4 games

Despite it’s 2-11 record, Mona Shores gave Western Michigan Christian fits Tuesday night, but in the end, they were unable to come out on top as the Warriors extended their winning streak to 4 games.

WMC led for pretty much the entire game, the closest Mona Shores would get in the second half was within two at 40-38 midway through the 4th quarter, but the Warriors were able to seal the win on a load of clutch baskets late.

Jaylen Hopson started the first half on fire, as he put up 16 points for Mona Shores. However, he was held to only two points in the second quarter. Kellen Mitchell led WMC with 21 points and his highlights included a dunk.

The win brings the Warriors to 9-4 on the season and their next game is a home contest against Ludington for first place in the Lakes 8.
